What a complete joy to celebrate Kennice and Wesley and their long awaited wedding reception! Back in May they considered postponing their entire wedding to October, but decided to still get married in a small, family only ceremony that I was privileged to be a part of. They decided to wait to celebrate with all of their family and friends until October with a brief love renewal service followed by dinner and dancing, and it was the most perfect day.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more joyful bride than Kennice. Her smile and laughter lit up every room she was in, and it made her wedding day the happiest event. She and Welsey together are sweet, kind and thoughtful – they greeted each guest, braved the chilly temperatures with huge smiles and snuggles, and constantly made sure my team and I were taken care of throughout the day. It was clear these two were in newly wedded bliss (having been married for 5 months by the time they were able to celebrate with everyone) and it made the day so calm, laid back and full of emotion. Even though Covid had taken so much from them, they truly persevered through the difficulties that were thrown their way and proved that their love was all that mattered and will continue to guide them in the years to come.

Kennice and Wesley – I have a huge smile on my face just remembering your day and how full of joy and love it was. You two are an inspiration – the love you have for each other, your flexibility and grace in times of pressure and your genuine kindness and care for those around you. These qualities could not be a better gift in the start of your new life together and I know you are well equipped for whatever comes your way. Wishing you only the best and so grateful to be a part of these special moments that will be shared with your family for years to come!
