Morgan and Jay invited me to Greenville, South Carolina to join in on a weekend of celebrating their wedding. I arrived early so we could do an engagement shoot in downtown Greenville, attended the rehearsal brunch, and was there for the whole wedding day to document the beginning of their new adventure together. I’ve known Jay for a few years, and seeing him and Morgan together brought me so much joy. She completes him in so many ways, and I love seeing the way they adore each other. When Morgan saw Jay at the first look, she completely relaxed, and you could see this excitement and happiness fill her just by being in his presence. And the way she looks at Jay – with such admiration and tenderness – you can tell that these two were made for each other!

Their wedding celebration at Southern Bleachery was emotional, joy-filled and beautiful. Even though there was some rain, the venue had beautiful natural light and white brick walls that made for a perfect backdrop for portraits and the first look. The groom’s sister-in-law designed all of the florals, and they were a perfect whimsical accent to the interior of the venue. Morgan was absolutely stunning in her fitted, tulle dress – she truly looked like a princess. I included several extra pictures of the first look and ceremony, simply because Jay’s face is so precious – these kinds of pictures are why I emphasize a first look so strongly with my clients! We stepped back and let the moments unfold, and just wait until you see them – get your tissues ready! 🙂

Mr. and Mrs. Bowser – it was so amazing to be a part of your wedding weekend. I can’t thank you enough for flying me down to celebrate with you, and warmly welcoming me as part of your family the whole weekend. It is so apparent that you both love with your whole hearts – you don’t do anything halfway, and I love that about you! You have a gift of making people feel right at home, and that is something to be treasured. I also don’t think I’ve ever cried more at a wedding! The vows you spoke to one another were beautiful and heartfelt – I pray that you will continue to live those out every day for the rest of your lives. I love you both so much and am so thankful that I was able to document these moments for you – I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from your perfect day!
