Jill and Rob had the perfect fall weather for their wedding at The Grand Barn Event Center. We woke up to a 70 degree October day with beautiful sunshine and gorgeous color in the leaves, and I knew we were going to make some magic! The Grand Barn is definitely barn weddings done right!! Their venue is breathtaking – with the ceremony set outside under market lights at the top of a gorgeous overlook, it provided one of the best backdrops I’ve ever shot for a ceremony! Jill and Rob decided to do a first look (which I loved!) and it allowed them to spend some special time together, as well as give us extra time for portraits – just wait until you see them!! 🙂 And even with seeing his bride before the ceremony, Rob still shed a tear when he saw her walk down the aisle and it made me well up behind the camera!
Molly Taylor & Co floral design blew me away with how they decorated the venue space and made it so whimsical and romantic! As always, you can expect a lot of detail shots as you scroll through! 😉 These ladies were amazing at what they did and they transformed the Grand Barn into a fairytale setting. And just wait until you see the real-life tree houses that are on the property! We took Jill and Rob there for some portraits, and I’ve never seen anything so unique and beautiful (especially in Ohio! 😉 It was so fun to explore the property with the bride and groom and have a lot of time to be creative and create some gorgeous images together.
Mr. and Mrs. Wasem, we loved spending the weekend with you both! Thank you for bringing us out to Glenmont to celebrate with you at one of the most beautiful barn venues we’ve ever seen!
