We only spent a day in Florence as we continued our travels through Italy, but we maximized our time and enjoyed every moment! We stayed at a gorgeous art deco hotel in the center of the city so that we could walk to the main attractions we hoped to see. We strolled along Ponte Vecchio, picnicked at Piazzale Michelangelo, saw the David for the first time, and enjoyed Florentine steak at Tim’s favorite restaurant of the trip: I’Tuscani 2!
