The next stop on our European adventure was Cinque Terre! We stayed in Monterosso at an adorable bed and breakfast with the most enchanting breakfast nook, where we were served a homemade feast each morning! One of our favorite activities was renting a private boat which took us out to visit each of the 5 fishing villages, and then sailed back to Monterosso at sunset. Tim was able to do cliff diving and snorkeling and I enjoyed the foccacia and champagne provided by our captain! We chose to not do any extensive hiking, but used the trains to travel from city to city, since they are all so close together. We couldn’t leave without soaking up time on the beach, eating some delicious seafood and enjoying the view from a hilltop restaurant one evening.
