Kristen and Steven hosted a magical three day destination wedding in Charleston, South Carolina and each moment of their celebration was perfect. To begin, they invited their friends and family to join them for a sunset cruise on Charleston harbor. They toasted the beginning of their weekend and allowed their guests to mix and mingle as the sun went down. There was music, dancing and some dolphins swam alongside the boat to celebrate as well!
The next day their guests were invited to the rehearsal dinner at Parcel 32 in downtown Charleston. Kristen prepared welcome totes for each person – filled with their favorite Charleston snacks, a custom newspaper detailing the events of the weekend and several fun goodies for them to enjoy. Upon arrival, each guest was greeted with champagne and invited to find their seat with the polaroid seating chart featuring favorite images that the couple shared of each of their favorite people. After the first course had been passed and the wine was poured, Kristen and Steven heard toasts from those closest to them to celebrate their love that began in middle school. There wasn’t a dry eye in the restaurant by the time the toasts were finished! After enjoying a delicious meal, everyone was invited to the welcome party that continued in Parcel 32. Hors d’oeuvres were passed and the bar was open as the guests enjoyed the upstairs space and outdoor balcony. Mini mason jars filled with custom desserts and mini popsicles ended the night before the guests departed. It was an amazing way to be welcomed to the city, and we loved getting to know Kristen and Steven’s family and friends.
