Lauren and Leighton were married on a gorgeous August day at Canal 337. This downtown Indianapolis venue is right on the end of the canal and gives you a great view of the city from its terrace balconies. My favorite part about the day was that the couple chose to rent the Old World Gondoliers during their cocktail hour so that their guests could take rides along the canal, and also at the end of the night after sparklers, they had a gondola waiting for their final exit. I’ve never seen this done at a wedding before, and it truly made it an event to remember – I felt like we were transported to Venice, Italy, and I loved it!!
Lauren was a bridesmaid for one of my very first #clpbrides, and it’s always such an honor when people remember my work and choose me for their own wedding day! As a couple, Leighton and Lauren bring out the best in each other – they can make each other laugh so easily, which made bride and groom portraits so much fun! I loved spending the day with these two, and I’m more than a little jealous that they traveled to Hawaii for their honeymoon! Hope you enjoy a preview of their beautiful day!
