Jessica & Thomas (A Rustic Chic Wedding at the Barn at Kennedy Farm)

I loved celebrating with Jessica and Thomas at the Barn at Kennedy Farm for their July wedding! Jessica included so many personal touches that made their day unique and so much fun to photograph – including butterbeer cupcakes (Harry Potter fans unite!), a brooch and ring handed down to her from her family, and my personal favorite were her bridal shoes!

Although we had some crazy weather (rain, thunder, hail – you name it, we had it!), there were some moments in between when the sun came out and gave us some beautiful light for bride and groom portraits! The ceremony was moved indoors, and the sparkling chandeliers provided a romantic backdrop for Thomas and Jessica to exchange their vows. The team at Barn at Kennedy Farm transformed the room after the ceremony, and I can say hands down, it was one of the most fun receptions I’ve ever photographed! Jessica’s maid of honor surprised her by writing her own lyrics describing Jessica and Thomas’s love story to ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ by Journey and sang them to the couple for her speech! Hoping to see that up on YouTube sometime soon 😉 The night ended with an awesome dance party, thanks to Jared Wade Entertainment, and the skies cleared for a picture-perfect sparkler send off for the couple.
