Where to begin with these two?! Courtney and Drew are some of the most fun people you will ever meet, and are equally as kind and gracious as they are hilarious! Their wedding was an incredible event from beginning to end, and I was sad when we had to pack up and leave because I could have partied with them all night! Their day began separately – the guys getting ready at Ironworks Hotel, and the ladies at a salon Air BnB in downtown Carmel (so gorgeous!). They met up at their venue, the Black Iris Estate, for their first look as well as portraits and it did not disappoint! The weather was picture perfect, and I was blown away by the gorgeous grounds of the estate (so prepare yourselves for lots of scrolling 😉

I loved Courtney’s Hollywood glam style – from her curls to her cathedral veil, the accent bow at the back of her dress and the sparkly Badgley Mischka heels I could not get enough! She also chose to do something I had never seen before – all her bridesmaids wore white, and it was honestly so beautiful. Everyone looked so timeless and classy, and the outfits were accented by luscious, flowing bouquets filled with greenery. The bridal party not only looked gorgeous, but they were some of the nicest people I have interacted with at a wedding. I truly feel like the bridal party is such a reflection of the couple, and it’s obvious that Drew and Courtney are so loved, and surrounded by an awesome community of people. One of my favorite parts of the day was their first dance – they had their whole bridal party standing and clapping along with them! The couple even chose to add some special elements to their reception, including signature cocktails, a cigar bar and late night snacks delivered to the dance floor!

Mr. & Mrs. Talkington – your day was absolutely perfect. It’s no surprise that your day was SO much fun, and filled with so many sentimental and personal moments as well. You two are such a great match – you make each other better in every way, and make everyone around you feel loved and like a part of your family. Thank you for welcoming us with open arms – for your kindness and gratefulness and for making our jobs so easy and fun! We truly loved every minute of celebrating you both and wish you only the best in your life together <3 Enjoy my (many) favorites!!
