Ever since Ali reached out to me about photographing her wedding, I have been counting down the days!! Her wedding has a special place in my heart because she is the graphic designing genius behind Chloe Luka Photography. She’s been with me from the beginning, making my dreams come to life, so when she asked me to photograph her wedding I was so excited to be the one to document the day that all of her dreams were coming true!
I met Ryan at their engagement session last winter, and seriously these two could not be more perfect for each other. They make each other laugh, have so much fun together, and are honestly two of the kindest people you’ll ever meet (on top of the fact that they are such a beautiful couple! Just wait until you see their portraits 😉
From the minute these two booked with me they have made my little photographer’s heart so happy! Their day was filled to the brim with gorgeous details (my favorite!), many of them customized by Ali herself – including the invitations which were designed by her and then printed by the groom’s family! (Like I said, they were made for each other!) We took portraits in two beautiful locations – Wegerzyn Gardens (where Ryan proposed to Ali) as well as the Dayton Art Institute, and then we celebrated at one of the most gorgeous receptions I’ve ever seen – designed by Something Old Dayton complete with mismatched china vintage rentals, the wedding cake homemade by the bride and her mother, stone place settings that Ali calligraphed by hand, and of course, lots of dancing!
I could go on and on about how much I love these two and what an honor it was to spend the day with them, but I should let the pictures do most of the talking 🙂 Ali and Ryan – you guys are the best! I’m so incredibly happy for you both and all that the future holds for you! Thank you again for trusting me with these moments – it was such a joy to share in this day with you! I’ll be honest – I had a really hard time narrowing down my favorites, so get ready for a lot of scrolling! 🙂
