Where to begin with Maggie and Chris? These two are amazing. They invited me to their apartment for a lifestyle engagement shoot with their adorable puppy, and from the moment we met I couldn’t wait for their wedding day. These two are laid-back, fun and so gracious. They have a close circle of friends and family who adore them, and their day was a breeze, mainly because of how great their attitudes were and the excitement they had to be together and to be married.
Their beautiful day was designed by Plum and Poppy Weddings, featuring the artistry of Meg Catherine Flowers, Hello Gorgeous and Athena Street Creative. The crisp October day gave us perfect sunny weather for bridal party photos as we traveled around downtown Indianapolis in a trolley for portraits at the War Memorial. I loved the color palette that Maggie chose: cabernet, blush and greenery (some of my favorites!) and a gorgeous choice for a fall wedding. After the ceremony at St. John the Evangelist, the party continued at Canal 337 with an outdoor cocktail hour and live music for dancing provided by Living Proof!
Mr. & Mrs. Parks, thank you for choosing me to document your amazing day! I loved every single minute that I got to celebrate with you guys, and wish we could do it all over again this weekend! 😉 Love you both so much and wish you all the best in this exciting new adventure.
