It was a fairytale weekend for Ali and Streator and we were thrilled to celebrate them along with their closest friends and family. While our sweet couple resides in Arizona, the wedding was held on the bride’s grandparent’s property, Stoneghenge Farm, just outside of Chicago. Ali said she had known ever since she was a little girl that she wanted to be married there and her grandparents made that wish come true. Their private estate was a stunning backdrop for the weekend’s festivities – from the luscious, European gardens where we took Ali’s bridal portraits to the stone arched walkway that Ali and her father walked down the aisle through, so many personal elements were a part of their day that wove the legacy of the Getz family throughout their nuptials. Streator also honored the history of his family by choosing to wear a turquoise bolo tie (along with his groomsmen) that were gifted from his family in honor of his grandmother who was the first jewelry trader in Arizona. There were so many personal and thoughtful elements throughout the weekend that showed how much this couple treasures and values their families and the rich history they have given to them.

Together with Baldwin Productions, Ali’s vision to reflect the timelessness of the property, and the love and memories her family has had there was beautifully executed. The ceremony backdrop was a majestic tree that has grown and graced the property for years – decorated with florals from the Flower Firm for a modern touch to this piece of history. Guests were treated to cocktails and appetizers on the lawn before being invited to the tented reception that was transformed into a secret garden of greenery and blooms, featuring Ali and Streator’s painted crest on the dance floor. This same crest was featured throughout the day – from the invitations to the programs, and even on the bars and napkins for each guest. It was an unforgettable night of heartfelt speeches, shared laughter and an amazing dance party with the live band!

Mr. and Mrs. Bates – I heard this said so many times over the weekend, but after spending 48 hours with you, I can’t help but echo the sentiments of all those who know and love you – you two are truly something special. It was a joy to see the way you compliment each other, strengthen each other and bring out the best in one another. I have honestly not met a kinder couple who is gracious in all that they do. Ali, you are a gem – beautiful from the inside out, and we were blown away with the grace and kindness you showed to our team. I am so happy for you two and the adventure you have before you as a married couple. I can only imagine the things you will do together and the lives you will touch – and I count myself blessed to be one of those lives. Thank you for embracing us and welcoming us as one of the family and allowing us to capture the beginning of your forever. It’s a day I will not soon forget 🙂 Much love to you both!
