It all began with an introduction from Kyle’s mom. She saw Kelsey across the room , and after finding out she was single, she brought her over to meet her son. A year and a FaceBook message later, the two hit it off and were inseparable for the remainder of their years at Notre Dame.

Since then, their lives have been nothing short of adventurous. Over the 7 years since graduation, they have conquered long distance love, the highs and lows of the NFL, grad school, CPA exams, house flipping, and even Kyle’s bout with cancer two years ago. From Notre Dame to Denver to Kansas City, back to Notre Dame, and now to California, they have built an amazing life together, and have filled it along the way with the best people.

Last November Kyle popped the question at sunset along the shores of Laguna Beach. They were thrilled to share this special moment with all four of their parents who had given them so much over the years.

We loved getting to celebrate with these two – from their breathtaking ceremony at St. Joan of Arc, to the live music at their reception at Sahm’s Atrium, the whole day was picture perfect. They have overcome so much as a couple, and it was obvious in the emotion felt throughout the room as Kelsey’s sister and Kyle’s brothers toasted the newlyweds. Kelsey is one of the sweetest brides that I have ever worked with, and it’s clear that Kyle is her soulmate. Enjoy this glimpse into their beautiful day!
